In November of 2025, we embarked on a bold project to move to the civic heart of Vancouver near a large, established neighborhood and across the street from The Heights District, a significant new mixed-use development.
We can’t hide our light under a bushel; we need to be the visible church to our neighbors in Clark County; ready and able to offer true sanctuary in the form of the Gospel to all who enter our door.”

Becoming a City on a Hill
What is the opportunity before us?
To purchase for $1.5 million the church building, facilities, and property where we have moved and are renting… to become a visible City on a Hill in Vancouver, where established neighborhoods meet The Heights District.
What has been done so far?
We have a six-month rental agreement for the property and have occupied it. We canvassed the congregation resulting in immediate commitments of:
- $119,000 in one-time gifts
- A $640,000 internal, low-interest loan
- $7,200 in additional monthly giving, on top of what is being given now
This is a strong vote of confidence.
What comes next?
- Secure funding to close on the property by May 15, 2026.
- Raise at least $331,000 for a 30 percent deposit from the local Peace family, from our broader sister churches of Classis Pacific Northwest, and from any other churches in our Federation
What will the impact be?
- We immediately gain a permanent home, with room for us now and in the future, in an excellent location.
- We finish the campaign in a strong financial position.
- We become a visible City on a Hill for the Gospel
- By God’s grace, we welcome singles, families, young people, and seniors into our fellowship where they may engage with God’s truth
