Why a Robe?
Why does Pastor Chris wear a Robe when leading worship services at Peace URC? Good question! Wearing a Geneva Robe (or Gown) has been the practice of Reformed Ministers since the earliest days of the Reformation in the Sixteenth century. Our friend and fellow Minister of the Word, Rev. Michael Brown explains the practice and history of a Minister wearing a Geneva Robe.
